New in my kitchen: yellow ramekins and a green pan

Hi,
No recipe today. Just wanted to share a few new things I've recently purchased for my kitchen (thanks Sylvie for shopping with me!).

The first, are 6 yellow ramekins: how adorable are they? I used them already to make panna cotta, but can see myself using them to bake eggs or making mini casseroles and desserts.

The second one is this Green Pan. I've seen it on HSN multiple times, but was very happy to find it at Marshalls. What really cracked me up, is that half of the things on the label are in Russian, my native language ;)

I used this pan to make omelets and cook chicken burgers: it did everything perfectly!

What are some of yours latest kitchen purchases?

Check in tomorrow for Daring Bakers Challenge reveal!

  2. I love the yellow ramekins. Very pretty! And now I'm checking these pans. I don't use non-stick very often but mine are getting pretty worn out.

  11. First off..your tiramisu is gorgeous and I love the POM=Pama flavor. Tart and sweet is perfect for a tiramisu.

Secondly, put me in any kitchen store or any kitchen department in a store, and I'm in a ZONE. I can spend hours perusing and buying - it's crazy lol My latest purchase isn't anythng in the pots and pans or cool gadgets realm, but a box of 40 food color gels lol

  13. Check out Big Lots if it's in your area. I have found trendy little serving dishes as well as edible gourmet items priced way below the speciality shops. I recently found a Cherry-Balsamic vinaigrette priced at the supermarkets for over $4 at Big Lots for $1! It was the exact same product!!
