How To Make Breakfast Sandwich At Home: Fried Egg, Cheese & Avocado Breakfast Sandwich
Do you buy your breakfast sandwich at a fast food place or at a cafeteria in your work building? If you do, it's not a big deal, but do you realize how easy it it to make a breakfast sandwich at home!? This Fried Egg, Cheese & Avocado Breakfast Sandwich takes less than 10 minutes to make and can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
Warning: it's MESSY!
Fried Egg, Cheese & Avocado Breakfast Sandwich
Ingredients for 1 persion
1 whole wheat English muffin, sliced, toasted
2 slices of cheese
2 lettuce leaves
1/2 avocado, sliced
salt
2 fried eggs
Directions
1. Place cheese directly onto toasted English muffins and allow it to melt slightly.
2. Top with lettuce, avocado, a bit of salt and fried eggs.
I preferred to eat these sandwiches open faced: more avocado, cheese and eggs and less bread!
And finally, I just need to say that this post was primarily inspired by Aviva who tweeted several times about making fried egg sandwiches a few weeks ago! Thank you for the inspiration.
What do you put on your fried egg sandwiches?
